The Media Tower lies at the southern border of the project area of „real*utopia.“ From the upper floors of the tower you have a wonderful view over the main area of Gries.
The staircase platform at the upper elevator level (5th floor) is the location of a video monitor, showing a „Guided Tour“ through the Gries. Here, you can follow the recital of the 11 year-old Florian and at the same time ramble over the roofs of the district. The boy speaks about the future of the Gries, about representative sites (out of his view), about incidents and people. He talks in future time; from the details, however, you can conclude that some of the things he says have just become reality. The text oscillates between two poles, reality and fiction.
What you cannot see, really, are the details the boy addresses. However, you can set your imagination free and think about your own play with backdrops, which occur in several episode of the boy’s story.
